The pendant features a raised profile image of Saint Rita on the front, who is shown at prayer and holding a circlet of thorns. On the top and bottom of the pendant are the words, "Saint Rita Pray For Us". The back of the medal is blank with a brushed finish but can be engraved with the message of your choice. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box.Saint Rita was an Augustinian nun who was known for the efficacy of her prayers - various miracles are attributed to her intercession, and she is often portrayed with a bleeding wound on her forehead which indicates a partial stigmata.
