Extel Large Pewter Oval Saint Gerard Medal Pendant, Patron Saint of Expectant Mothers for Men with 24" chain. 1 x 5/8 inch satin finish pewter oval St. Gerard medal on a 24 inch stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features a raised image of Saint Gerard on the front, who is shown holding a cross. On the top and bottom of the pendant are the words, "Saint Gerard Pray For Us" with two crosses on the left and right sides respectively. The back of the medal is blank with a brushed finish. Includes a Saint Gerard card with his information, and is packaged in a poly bag with medal attached.Saint Gerard Majella grew up in a family of seven in poverty, instilling in him a great respect for the poor. He was known to often be fasting and in prayer, and took vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. He is accredited with several miracles, including restoring a boy's life after he fell from a cliff and saving an expectant mother on the verge of losing her child, thus being known as the Patron Saint of Expectant Mothers.
